About Me

I grew up mainly in Los Angeles as well as Chiayi City in Taiwan. After studying Cybersecurity & Privacy at Georgia Tech, I am currently working as a Cloud Security Engineer and figuring out how to live my life to the fullest as well as what goals matter the most to me.

The Journey So Far

My career has been a semi straight forward path from the bottom up. During college I tried out different fields in the cyber space such as network and database security. I got involved in the defense industry during my time at Georgia Tech before realizing that I wanted something different in my future roles. I then moved on and briefly worked at an artificial intelligence startup before starting my current role as a cloud security engineer.

What I'm Doing Now

Starting 2025, I have decided to focus on three main aspects of my life:

1. Getting hands on: Currently, I am teaching myself how to tune and maintain cars from the ground up
2. Creative release: I am working on refining my photography styles as well as figuring out what my signature look is when it comes to self expression
3. Expanding the mind: I am currently reading on different ways of viewing the world in order to expand my interpersonal skills as well as be able to live life to the fullest without regrets

This site is where I share what I'm learning. Most of my writing falls into a few categories:

• Book notes: Detailed summaries of the non-fiction I read
• Photo Gallery: My photography journey as well as lessons learned and thought processes behind my photos
• Life Lessons: Reflections of lessons I have learned in life through looking back at my memories

Outside of Work

When I'm not building things, you can find me figure skating, going to the gym, learning to fly, or exploring new places around the world. Im particularly interested in optimizing my life with special regards to interpersonal relationships, strength training, as well as the philosophy of life itself, all of which help me understand how to live a fulfilling life with as little regrets as possible.
